We are Saturn Machine Knives and as some of you may know we are the leading independent manufacturer of wood chipper blades in the UK, having sold over 175,000 of our ROTATECH™ blades into the industry.

 

For those of you who have never heard of us, we have been trading for over 9 years and are based in Sheffield. The company was founded on the principle that wood chipper manufacturers where monopolising the market and charging gastronomically high prices for their blades.

 

Over the 9 years we have steadily grown in size through a focus on Quality, Reliability, Technical Advice and Price. Through this focus we have gained the attention of most of the major sawmills in the UK. These sawmills operate a downtime of £120 per minute and it’s the ROTATECH™ blades that have the responsibility of keeping their production lines running.

 

Alongside these sawmills we have strong relationships with many tree surgeons around the UK, who benefit from the Quality of ROTATECH™ blades at a price that suits their pocket. Locally we often have the guys who have been with us since the beginning popping in for re-grinds, arborist gear and a cuppa!
